The SUN-light process is useful for problem solving and conflict resolution. Gaining an expanded perspective and energy to approach difficult situations.
SUN stands for Sense & Sooth, Uplift & Unveil, Nurture & Nourish. It’s all about bringing the light of conscious awareness into your life by drawing from the sun’s energy and positionality.
The SUN-light process steps:

- Sense what is present for you: What is going on around you? What are you thinking and feeling?
- Soothe yourself: Anchor awareness in your body by taking a full breath in through your nose and release the breath slowly from your mouth, repeating 3-6 breaths.
U
- Uplift the situation: Imagine being the sun, looking upon that situation from the sun’s perspective, seeing everything that is going on, and shining sunlight throughout the situation.
- Unveil your insight: What is important to you in that situation? If others are involved, what is important to them? What can you learn from the sun’s position?
N
- Nurture this moment: With your insight in awareness, feel the sun’s radiance around you.
- Nourish the way forward: With sunlight illuminating the way forward, how will you turn your insight into action that is beneficial for all?

The SUN processes are part of the Authentic Self Empowerment (ASE) approach, developed by Jevon Dängeli, to support individuals, couples and groups in approaching challenging situations mindfully and resourcefully, as well as helping people to optimize the conditions for fulfilment in any area of life.
The Licensed ASE Facilitators and Transpersonal Coaches are trained to facilitate the SUN processes and apply them as part of more comprehensive interventions.
