Self-esteem can be defined as the collection of beliefs and perceptions that we have about ourselves. It influences our motivations, attitudes, and behaviors, and determines our emotional response to the significant experiences in our life.
Self-esteem is a child’s passport to a lifetime of mental and emotional well-being as well as interpersonal skills. It´s the foundation of a child’s happiness and the key to success as an adult.
After 2 introductory tracks, track 3 includes 10 key ways in which parents can help their children foster a sense of self-worth, independence, and optimism in life. Track 4 is for your child or teenager, where Jevon guides them by means of a story to become more secure within themselves, resourceful, as well as emotionally and socially intelligent.
The story that Jevon tells in this recording follows one of the Authentic Self Empowerment processes and is adapted to suit children and teenagers, as well as the inner-child of any adult.
If you (or your child) could think the thoughts and gain the experience that you will have two years in the future, and then be able to utilize that potential future awareness in the present to motivate yourself and deal with current challenges, would that interest you?
The listener is guided to identify with the character “Sam” who knows how to beam himself over to the “other world” where he can visit his two-year older self. Sam’s two-year older self has already dealt with and overcome the challenges that younger Sam currently faces. From this more experienced, resourceful and wiser aspect of himself, Sam discovers how to approach his current situation more effectively. He is also inspired by the positive beliefs that his older self has, and brings all this back with him into this world, where he can apply his learning in a simple and practical way. Sam is uplifted each time, and so can you (or your child) be!
Sam’s World can make a world of difference for your child – their passport to life!.
