When you realise that you create your experiences, you’ll discover that you can un-create and re-create them too. You are responsible for your happiness and your unhappiness. Which will you choose?
Healing and transformation are possible and usually more achievable than most people think. Connecting more fully with your inner resources so that you can live a more inspired and proactive life is in reach.
A Personal Breakthrough Intensive (PBI) is for:
- Eliminating reactions to stress
- Burnout prevention and/or recovery
- Getting through difficult transitions more easily
- Overcoming fears, anxiety, and low self-esteem
- Healing – physical, psychological and spiritual issues
- Business and sports professionals who want to get to and stay at their highest performance level
What is a PBI?
A PBI is like a spring clean for your nervous system. It’s a comprehensive sorting and clearing of mental obstacles, emotional baggage, and limiting beliefs. It enables you to enhance your mind-body connection and thereby experience more fulfilment in any area of your life.
PBIs combine the most effective coaching and brief therapy modalities of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology (HNLP), Hypnotherapy & Authentic Self Empowerment™ (ASE).
Instead of going for a series of single sessions over weeks or months, you can experience the cumulative benefit of what many coaching and psychotherapy programs aim to achieve – in just 2 days!
Any problem is only a problem in the way you think…and changing your thinking is easier than you think!
Why choose a PBI instead of coaching:
Most coaching approaches require you to commit to a set amount of coaching sessions over a period of time. Should you achieve your outcome in the first session, you would still have to pay for the entire coaching program. However, most clients don’t have to concern themselves about that as standard coaching doesn’t generally enable you to achieve your desired outcome in 1 or 2 sessions.
The reason for this is because our unconscious functioning precedes conscious awareness by at least 1/2 second. This means that most if not all coaching issues like motivation and procrastination, indecision, conflicting priorities, burnout, overwhelm and performance anxiety are a result of automatic (unconscious) reactions and patterns which occur before conscious awareness. Amazingly, though, most coaching programs available today rely heavily on conscious processing through questioning, analysis, and tasking. It’s like trying to steer a train by asking someone in the last car to change the direction of the entire train. It simply won’t work.
During your PBI we will work with your unconscious processes that are at the root of most of your problems in life, yet do it in a natural, conversational way that makes this approach effective and even fun.
Why choose a PBI instead of therapy:
It’s fast, it’s positive, it works, and you keep the Change!
A therapist is responsible for diagnosing and relieving symptoms or illness, and helping you to overcome past-oriented problems.
Historically, Psychoanalysis was the precursor to all forms of therapy. Its focus was on the past, therapy lasted for years and the goal was simply “acceptance” of one’s neurosis. Then came Behaviour Therapy, which was a reaction against Psychoanalysis. It set the stage for brief, present-oriented therapy. However, it was reductionistic in nature as it explained the human psyche in terms of “stimulus-response” and reinforcement schedules.
It was only with Carl Rogers and the advent of Humanistic Psychology (active listening, respect for the uniqueness of individuals) that therapy began to be somewhat positive in nature.
The therapeutic techniques of NLP, which began their development in the 1970s, are to a certain extent an integration of Psychoanalysis and Behaviour Therapy. NLP focuses on making an initial change in the present and when necessary it has brief (yet effective), past-oriented change techniques too.
ASE methods, which developed from NLP, applied mindfulness (open awareness), and transpersonal psychology offer a less technique-driven approach that deals with the root of most challenges quite conversationally. ASE methods focus on personal transformation and remedial change. ASE facilitates a context for change that heals your past, empowers you in the present, and enables you to co-create a compelling future.
Therefore, a PBI incorporating ASE methods along with applicable NLP techniques and teaching practical open awareness skills is a constructive way to create rapid and sustainable improvement in practically all areas of your life.
“You’ve given me a new outlook, motivation and general desire to take life on, rather than just sort of endure it. You have my deepest gratitude for making this possible.” – J. Smit
